Has anyone here read this book? I love this book. It is THE vampire literature book. I first picked it up because I wanted to see for myself all the references mentioned in Hellsing and I'd have to say alot of it is dead on. So, if you've read this book, what did you think of it?

You mean the one by Bram Stoker, right? The original? There have been many Dracula books over the years. I love the original. I like how it is told through diaries and newspaper clippings rather than the conventional method. It makes it more interesting. This was the start of a lot of the widely known vampire literature. I find it amazing that it has lasted over 100 years, though I could be thinking of another book with that number.

Yeah, the original, and it has lasted over 100 years. It was first published in 1897. When I first read it, I kept thinking of Alucard or Integra whenever Mina or Dracula were described/mentioned. ;D

Heh, I read it before I ever read Hellsing or saw the movies so I was able to create my own little visions which oddly enough doesn't really match anybody elses.
