What came first? The chicken or the egg?
I'm settling with the chicken.
Any other unanswerable questions?
Like, when a tree falls and no one is there to hear, does it make a sound?
Got any questions or answers to them?

I've always wondered about that first question. I've always figured that it must be the egg, since without the egg, there would be no chicken. As for the second question, the tree will make a sound, but, well...no one will hear it.

The egg came first. Dinosaurs had been laying eggs far before the chicken had evolved. Plus, the question doesn't ask if it was the chicken egg that came first

Too true. I've actually never put dinosaurs into the equation before. Makes excellent sense. *nods*

thank you, this is the product of my boredom.
Now, for another question... Hmmm......Can placebos cause side effects? If so, are the side effects real?

Well, I actually don't think that placebos can cause side effects since they're not supposed to do anything. So, yeah, the side effects have got to be real.
Still thinking of a question, btw...

But then you have to think. When testing a new drug they give placebos to the same number of people as the actual drug and (say it's a anti-depressant pill) the placebo sometimes does what the drug is supposed to, just because the people think it's doing what it's supposed to. So if youwere told there were side effects and actually believed it could you get them

Ah, well, that's different. In that case, they may well actually happen. Most people are gullible and will believe what you tell them, especially if they have no prior knowledge.
Now...do you believe that man actually went to the moon? I'm asking this because of the theorists who believe that we didn't. I believe that it didn't happen, mainly because we had/have the technology to do so. It's quite possible. Plus, there's no way in hell that a group of thousands of people could keep something as huge as that a secret.

well, you say that now, but think about the JFK shooting. Think about how long they covered that up and how long it will stay covered up. That's another theory altogether though. As for the moon landing, I believe that it was fake. In fact, i've the true moonlanding right here www.spaceg.com/multimedia/collection/Hollywood/Moon%20landing.mpegHeh, seriously, I believe that we could have made it to the moon, but not before the soviets and that is the reason why they faked the landing. It was during the cold war and america needed something to be proud of.

Hmmm...well, you're right about the JFK shooting. As for the link, I'll listen/watch it later when I have headphones (I'm in a computer lab and the noise was loud >.<)
But, wasn't the cold war over by then?

actually, Vin Diesel came first. And Vin Diesel also hears the tree fall even when there's no one to hear it

*snicker* But, really, let's try to keep this on topic. actually, believe it or not, the cold war lasted from 1945 to 1990 Oh yeah, I forgot. Though, it wasn't really a war but more like a race, right?

Yep, that's why it was called the 'cold' war. There were no shots fired. It was basically research and a 'race to space'. When I say research I mean the psi-ops division mostly. The american government heard that the soviets were training psychics. So they decided to

Right.
Another question:
Do you think cloning serves any beneficial purpose?
